Roker Pier & Lighthouse has been shortlisted for two prestigious awards.
The restoration and regeneration of Roker Pier & Lighthouse by Beaumont Brown Architects has been shortlisted in the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) North East Awards. RIBA North East Chair, Tim Bailey, praised the selection as ‘excellent’ and noted the vast breadth of the projects from new builds to conservation works and refurbishments. He said projects at large and small scales and in urban, suburban and rural settings ‘illustrates the value and impact that great design can bring to any setting and all communities.’ You can find out more here
And we have been shortlisted in Constructing Excellence North East (CENE)’s Preservation and Rejuvenation Category and Project of the Year. This award is a celebration of everything the North East Built Environment has to be proud of. You can find out more here
