Sunderland International Airshow 2018

27 July, 10:00 to 29 July, 19:00

The show returns after 30 continuous years of success.

The Sunderland International Air show celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2018. Roker and Seaburn host the biggest free air show in Europe, attracting thousands of visitors every year.

The show was first held in 1988 and was planned to be a one-off event but attracted 250,000 spectators, successfully claiming its place as one of the city’s biggest and most important events.

The  weekend will be jam-packed with aerial displays by numerous aircrafts, including the infamous Red Arrows, performing fly-pasts and stunts.

Ground attractions promise to be equally exciting with many family-friendly activities including stalls, food outlets, trampolines, small inflatables, zorbing, zip wire, mini tanks, and storytelling and music.
